Although he never achieved the fame of such contemporaries as Rod Stewart and Elton John — both of whom were members of his early bands and championed him after they became successful — 6’7″ vocalist Long John Baldry was a key figure in the Blues revival that hit England in the early ’60s.
John Baldry released this album in 1980 on the EMI America label. Unfortunately the album was not a commercial success.
“(Walk Me Out In the) Morning Dew”, a song from this album, became a hit in the Netherlands in 1981.
Also on this album 2 songs that Mink Deville wrote, namely Savoir Faire and Mixed Up, Shook Up Girl. Great album all together, I finally filled that nostalgia hole again
